Updates and Upcoming's!

I can not believe it is MAY!!!  Lots has happened at Rylo and I have been very selfish in not sharing any juicy details with you! So to give you an update from my last post which was too long ago I will start with the art exhibition...

Nadine Sawyer and Alexandra Ranken had an Art exhibition in the store and it was truly beautiful!  I loved being surrounded by their fabulous art every day!  The opening night was a huge success I got to meet so many new customers and the 3 of us worked so well together, it was an absolute pleasure having them instore.

I have been a busy bee with some beautiful interior work, great clients who I have loved working with!  A little sneak peek of a few bits and pieces I have been doing... There will be more photos to come when the jobs are 100% finished!

Loving potted colour indoors with the cooler weather.
One of my favourite bed heads I have ever done!

Finally... Mothers Day is just around the corner... I sourced these stunning original Louis Vuitton and Chanel adverts and had them framed just in time!!!  What mother wouldn't love one of these on Sunday! There are 6 in total, each is a one off and each is just as gorgeous.

Thanks so much for putting up with my sporadic posting... I am going to try to get on here more often and keep you all updated!  The shop is always changing so it is worthwhile popping in if you can! xx

Amore Angels in Brisbane

More images on my instagram rylointeriors.

Over the past few weeks I have been organising an Art Exhibition with Nadine Sawyer and Alexandra Ranken to be held at Rylo March 9th.  It is all coming together now and I thought I would share with you a little sneak peek of some gorgeous new cushions I just got back from the workroom featuring Nadine's gorgeous Angels.  Both Alexandra's and Nadine's art work so well with my style and I am so excited to transform the shop tomorrow into an explosion of art and colour.

Come along if you can.  The exhibition opens tomorrow night, Friday 9th March 6pm - 9pm and will continue for 2 weeks.  We will have Champas and nibbles tomorrow night with great music and of course great people!  Hope to see you there! xxx

Bag it up..

If you are like me and have piles of bags from special purchases hidden away... why not display them!!?? I love this idea for that annoying wall in the walk in wardrobe, or hallway between 2 girls rooms.  Its a bit of fun and will clear some room in the bottom of the wardrobe for more shoes! Enjoy your weekend! xxx

The art of colour

The ever talented Kerri from Driftwood Interiors has been busy creating this beauty for me!!  There are 6 small pieces to come, but this I LOVE!  I may just have to keep it all to myself!  If only I could smuggle it home without my husband seeing!  You may have seen it over the weekend in the Courier Mail.  The yucky newspaper paper doesn't seem to show the amazing colour, in person it is even better!  I will let you know when the set of 6 abstract water colours arrive! xx

Parisian Chic

I purchased this art from a very talented artist in America, and it finally arrived from the framers today! There are 6 pieces in total, all celebrating the best of Paris... The Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triomphe and of course Chanel Bags!!! I am finding it very hard to leave a couple of these in the shop... I may have to put one on my Christmas Wish List!

Limited Edition Artwork

Our gorgeous new watercolour prints are finally in store. I really need to improve my photography skills, because these photos do not do the artwork justice. The colours are so vibrant and the detail is really beautiful!

It has been very busy here, hope you are enjoying your week! xx

Arty Farty

I really think art is such an important part of any room. It can be a statement piece, it can be something that shows how you were feeling the day you purchased it, or something to change your mood each time you look at it...

I have been searching high and low for some gorgeous artwork for the store, some original and some prints... I think I have a longing for Spring! Here is a sneak peak!
