Busy Bee

 I apologise for my lack of blogging lately, I have been run off my feet with new stock arriving every day. I will be photographing most of the pieces on Monday during my photography lesson with my dear friend Jane from Jane Anne Photography.  So I will share all of the goodies then!  For now, I hope you enjoy the images above.  They are some of my favourites... Three Favourite Things

 I spent yesterday in Melbourne, and yes I do love Melbourne, but after coming home and having the best sleep I have had in a while (getting up at 3.30am isn't my thing) and getting up to weather like today, I really really love living in Brisbane!

The main reason I love Melbourne is because I always come home inspired... I don't know if it is just being surrounded by different things, or Melbourne, but I always come home ready to change the world!  Here are my three favourite things from yesterday!
 

I have a very busy week ahead of me, but I will try my very best to keep you all in the loop!  My stock room is full of unpacked boxes so there will be many photos to come! xxx

Wrap it up...

I have been busily wrapping presents all morning for some lovely customers... I took a quick snap just to show the beautiful FREE gift wrapping we offer with your purchase!  Hope you are enjoying the weekend... It seems many people have disappeared to the Gold Coast, I am going to love my lazy Sunday at home! xxx

Classic Colours

I know, Blue and White is constantly plastered all over the blog world... But its classic, its beautiful and I LOVE it! We have just received a big drop of our gorgeous blue and white ceramics ready for Christmas... We also received these beautiful bamboo look white ceramic lamp bases. The beautiful little breakfast sets of the mug, side plate and bowl come in 3 other colours, but of course, the blue and white is my fav! Can't believe how fast this year is moving along... Christmas will be here before you know it! Hope you are enjoying your week! xxx

Jingle Bells...

This is what my desk looks like today... I am surrounded by glorious Christmas decorations, gift wrap and ribbon and the odd gift! Stay tuned for the unveiling of our Christmas windows soon, I am so excited to share the Christmas joy - even if it is only October!! xx

Parisian Chic

I purchased this art from a very talented artist in America, and it finally arrived from the framers today! There are 6 pieces in total, all celebrating the best of Paris... The Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triomphe and of course Chanel Bags!!! I am finding it very hard to leave a couple of these in the shop... I may have to put one on my Christmas Wish List!

Pretty Messy...

I have had this image pinned up in front of my desk for so long, its so faded now, I had totally forgotten how beautiful the colours were! I have been glued to the computer today doing quotes and emailing clients. I hope some of you have been able to enjoy the gorgeous sun! Happy hump day! xx

New Favourite Book

Jonathan Adler has long been a fav of mine. I love his style, I love his quirkyness, but most of all, I love that he isn't afraid to be himself... His new book Happy Chic Colours, has just arrived in store and is the perfect, dare I say it, Christmas gift... I know... Its only October... But Christmas is coming so fast, I think its time to start making a wish list! Whats on yours?? xx

Grown up house..

This weekend Ryan and I planned to get some work done on our home... Mother nature turned on us and the painting we wanted to do was washed away with a morning storm and grey skies. So here I am dreaming of what our home could be... I have totally fallen in love with this gorgeous home by Caitlin Creer. Although I love my colour and bright surprises, this is what I would explain as my 'grown up' home...

Pretty Pastels

I saw these gorgeous images on the news this morning of a fabulous white carrousel with very pretty ladies in pastels and parasols....

After some serious stalking of pastels, parasols and white carrousel's, I finally figured out it was the AMAZING Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week. Trust Marc Jacobs to have me so fascinated with a single image. I am loving colour at the moment, bright bold colour, but this.... This is Devine....

Designer Lighting

To find interesting lighting in Australia is a rarity. It seems the retail giants take over and only offer the bare minimum in lighting design. It is always a breath of fresh air when a lighting designer is able to provide a beautiful product to us Aussies tailored for our Australian aesthetic. The handcrafted pieces are individual artworks, created from all natural materials, each with their own imperfections. I am hoping to have some of Gia Collectione's lighting in store soon... the only problem is deciding what one!!
